What is LL84/LL133?
LL84/LL133 is a law that requires the annual energy and water consumption data of large to mid-size buildings be submitted to the City annually. This law pertains to all buildings greater than 25,000 square feet within NYC’s five boroughs: Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Daylight Savings will collect the appropriate building and utility information and upload the data to a large database. We will review the data for errors and inconsistencies and will submit the information to the City as is required by the laws.
What happens if I ignore LL84/LL133?
Failure to report annually is a violation with penalties of $500 per quarter, for up to $2,000 in penalties per year. The department will not accept any outstanding submissions if outstanding penalties are not paid in full.
