Daylight Savings has performed over 150 agricultural energy audits across all farm types. The US Department of Agriculture offers renewable energy and efficiency grants through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). A farm is typically required to have a Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) compliant energy audit performed in order to be eligible for these grants. Our audits have been reviewed by and are compliant with NRCS standards and would help to both identify potential renewable energy and efficiency measures and qualify your farm for a REAP grant. Daylight Savings specializes in performing energy modeling, energy audits, and retro-commissioning (RCx). We have successfully completed over 10,000 audits and RCx projects covering over 300 million square feet. Daylight Savings has a long history of serving commercial buildings inclusive of the office, municipal, hospitality, healthcare, educational, and retail markets. We have extensive experience and success providing new construction energy consulting and modeling services, energy master plans, feasibility studies, RCx, and preliminary, investment grade, and ASHRAE level I, II, and III energy audits. We have been a New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) FlexTech contractor since 1998 and a NYSERDA New Construction Program Primary Energy Consultant since 2017. Multifamily Buildings
Daylight Savings has a long history of serving the multifamily marketplace since 1991. We have been a New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Multifamily contractor since 1998. Based upon our work in the NYSERDA Multifamily Performance Program, Daylight Savings was pleased to receive NYSERDA’s Deep Energy Savings Award and NYSERDA’s On-Target Savings Award. This is a testimonial to Daylight Savings’ meticulous attention to details including the initial utility analysis, review of design documents and specifications, on-site auditing, eQuest modeling, identification of energy conservation and O&M measures, construction oversight, and measurement and verification (M&V). Government
Daylight Savings has provided energy modeling, retro-commissioning, and audit services on large scale government projects for over 100 million square feet spanning across the United States and internationally. Energy services were provided for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Architect of the Capitol, the US Army Corp of Engineers, and for New York Power Authority. Industrial
Daylight Savings provided industrial and process efficiency expertise to hundreds of industrial and manufacturing facilities. These have included facilities that manufacture plastic products, windows and doors, wire and cable, food products, paper, guitar strings and drum heads, airplanes, and more. Daylight Savings works closely with operations and executive staff to streamline and improve process efficiency, to reduce energy usage on an energy use per unit of production basis, and to address any other stakeholder goals (e.g. reducing environmental waste, minimizing scrap, improving health and human safety, operations and maintenance practices, reducing water usage, developing a master plan for the facility, etc.). eQuest
Over 100 eQuest models have been completed by the Daylight Savings Company team. Our models have been vetted, reviewed and approved by government agencies including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), NYSERDA, and the US Department of Defense. Our approach is to work closely with a project's design team to meet the owner's unique project goals. Whether energy modeling is being performed for Enterprise Green Communities Certification, LEED Certification, or to meet the requirements of a government incentive program our staff has the experience and skills to exceed expectations and meet your specific modeling needs.
